A 3–4% ES range from overnight low to RTH high is very large.
Probably in the top 5% (or rarer) of sessions in most market environments (low vix), marking it as an outlier worth noting for mean-reversion plays or as a sign of strong momentum.
Logs today show that we participated across the entire move, a strong sign that one was stayed aligned with the dominant flow rather than fighting it.

• read tape
• execute quickly
• manage risk
• stay mentally stable across hundreds of trades
is extremely uncommon.
Not impossible, but uncommon.
Among active futures traders:
Probably well under 1%.
It’s adaptation.
The style changed during the day as the market structure changed.
That’s something even many professionals struggle with.
When you look at the log’s as a whole, it doesn’t look like random trades.
It looks like:
One long directional thesis executed through multiple microstructure tactics.
Authored ‘Rise’ calls.
Thematic holds
Scalpes.
That’s a very different thing from someone just taking 200 random scalps.
