Abstraction: Look at Their Market Takes on X
“Bears are in control.”
“Bulls are in control.”
“The market makers are hunting stops.”
Most market commentary stops there.
But they cannot connect the narrative to real-time execution, and that is one of the great deceptions of modern finance.
Because many market takes are ultimately frivolous without execution.
And we already know — through direct participation in markets — that very few people can actually execute consistently.
We know this because leaderboard performance in competitions is fragile.
Most participants do not capture the majority of the move.
Many rise quickly through variance and disappear just as fast.
We know this because most fund managers underperform the benchmark over long periods of time.
So the real edge is not merely describing what the market is doing.
The real edge is:
Can you engage with it in real time?
Can you repeatedly extract from it?
Can you survive variance long enough for skill to dominate?
Can you execute under pressure instead of narrating after the fact?
That is a much rarer ability than people realize.
