If you want to understand the East — or communist ideology — view it through one word: tricky.
Once you do, two things snap into focus:
You stop giving them “options” to be parasitic. You design the interaction so extraction isn’t available — not through goodwill, not through loopholes, not through ambiguity.
When you’re highly capable, you deploy it. Sometimes subtly. Sometimes overtly. If they’re smart, they’ll read the message either way.
Here’s the checkmate: demonstrate capability on things that actually matter. And once they realize they can’t copy it, the game changes — permanently.
