I used to think it was charming to travel down One Belt Run Road.
But once you actually sit on it, you realize it’s just bumpy.
You don’t learn anything new.
You learn company-specific trivia, at best. What you really learn is how to assimilate.
And the more you assimilate, the more they want you to perform the costume — dress like a geisha, act like a samurai -goofy.
It’s pageantry without consequence.
The road promises insight, but all it delivers is assimilation theater.
