Ventures, private equity, and investment banking are getting really crony these days—and that’s historically been the case, considering most ventures fail. There’s an abundance of hustlers, entrepreneurs, and “content creators” out there now.
Some ventures are propped up solely by their network effect, not based on merit. Entrepreneurship has become crony because the participants make it corny—they have no taste.
