How the market behaves on the way to 7000
One of my childhood heroes is targeting 7000 — and we’ll see whether we can author a pullback before it prints.
Very few focus on when and how the market moves, rather than just where it ends up.
So the question wasn’t whether 7000 is possible.
It clearly is.
The question was whether the market would allow an interaction first.
Would price accept a pullback?
Would an attempt lower be constrained?
Would tempo adjust before continuation?
Those questions aren’t about prediction.
They’re about structure.
Most market commentary lives at the level of outcomes:
Where price is going
What the target is
Which narrative “wins”
That’s downstream.
Upstream is something subtler:
how price behaves on the way there.
