I am seeded #30 in the knockout round of 1000
My peak ranking during the qualifiers was #51 out of more than 60,000 participants.
Now entering the knockout bracket, I’ve been assigned the #30 seed, with my first matchup against the #121 seed.
The #121 appears to be from Azerbaijan, which is interesting because that region has developed a very large retail trading culture centered around forex, CFDs, and MetaTrader-style environments over the past decade.
Azerbaijan sits within the broader CIS / post-Soviet speculative trading sphere where leveraged retail trading became deeply embedded online.
That matters because many of those environments are heavily optimized around:
forex-style momentum,
indicator abstraction,
MT4/MT5 workflows,
and retail CFD infrastructure.
My framework is very different.
If those are the primary tools and conditioning models my opponent comes from, there is a possibility that the structural environment of this tournament may be less familiar to them than it is to me.
