I watch the entire board and swot it
What I’ve found is that my style cuts through the noise of abstraction because it’s forced into real-time feedback.
It doesn’t get to hide behind “long-term narratives” or delayed validation. The tape grades it quickly. That pressure is exactly what makes it honest.
And to be clear: this isn’t some simple retail scalping gimmick. If the goal were only a small P&L extraction, I wouldn’t be doing it this way. I’m doing it because it says something bigger about markets: that truth is what survives consequence, not what survives commentary.
Great take on the narrative-hiding phenomeon. The point about influencers defaulting to longterm stories because they dont get tested in real-time cuts deep. Watched a friend get wrecked trading crypto last summer off some fintwit advice that sounded smart but had zero execution behind it, pure hindsight repackaging.
You want to operate with a little risk without injury.
In markets, the parallel is obvious—no one is going to fall off a building, but you still need real exposure.
Capital on the line is enough to keep you razor sharp.
If you can’t execute, you get punished. That’s the point. It forces integrity.
I think of it like fighting styles in UFC: you don’t just want a style that “works,” you want one that’s durable—one that survives changing conditions.
And the market is clearly moving toward more volatility, faster resolution, and shorter feedback cycles.
In that environment, a style built around real-time alignment and consequence doesn’t just survive—it compounds.
Zoom out and it still holds.
We’re still living in a regime that began at the COVID lows and extended into all-time highs—structure that can be mapped over years.
But what’s rare is being able to express that same structure at the micro level, inside the tape itself, where outcomes resolve in minutes or seconds.
So yes—do the SWOT.
Most styles demand very little skill because they demand a lot of time, narrative, and patience from everyone else.
This one is the opposite: it demands more cognition and execution, but that’s why the consequences are more significant.
It’s one of the few approaches that doesn’t need a story to justify itself—because the tape does the talking.

Phenomenal framing of market integrity. The UFC analogy captures something crucial: durability under live conditons, not theoretical perfection. I spent time around quant trading teams and the ones who actually compounded werethe ones obsessed with execution infrastrcture, not just models.
