If BRIC's invented something useful we'd be better (but they haven't)
Most of my readers are the smartest person in their group. You understand what that cognitive load costs.
If you’ve carried that load—if you’ve built a new lane of consequence—you shouldn’t let your country (globalist), your institutions (globalist), or even your passive shareholders sell it out for convenience (globalist).
At the same time, if more people actually committed to developing new lanes of consequence, the world would accelerate.
Look at the space race: once the United States landed a man on the moon, the Soviet reply—reflecting the gap in capability—was a trailer-truck–style payload floating in Earth orbit.
Even today, we show little reverence for the space station.
Yet, with the right propaganda, you can elevate almost anything into a “milestone.” With even more propaganda, you can claim it somehow led directly to Elon’s space ambitions.
But that’s not true.
