Since the market is neutral, we might as well make lemonade from the lemon of a market at 90%.
So what did the trade idea achieve:

Observe the last bar of the SPY 0.00%↑ on the close - a big fat red one that would eat into your gains.
That’s why I wrote ‘till after hours’ for us.
The settlement of the close bar gave us the option of a spike up or down.
In this case, it was down.
However, we got a minor upswing to close out the day.
I stress that I am a long-term investor as well. But for the love of the game, I’m obsessed with everything about it because investors can benefit from trading and execution from the perspective of the controlling the average buying price of the investment, which will ultimately determines if you are in the green or not.
Therefore, if today I was forced to buy, this is how I would be thinking and waiting for the right times to go in with more conviction, irrespective of the valuation of the asset.
