If you’re not willing to shut down your own government, the only option left is to shut down others. Max-tariff the ones that max-tariffed you, and let them take the hit so you can stay open — complete with a going-away party for Nancy Pelosi and a tribute to Dick Cheney.

It’s absurd that you’re expected to walk on eggshells for countries whose entire GDP is smaller than the market cap of individual U.S. companies — or even individual states.
