There’s a huge difference between:
• reacting
and
• authoring
Most traders react and then retrofit a narrative:
“I had a feeling.”
“It just seemed right.”
“I trusted my gut.”
That’s not edge. That’s aesthetic.
Authorship is different.
Authorship is when your action is visible in the tape.
Not:
“I sensed it would go up.”
But:
“I entered here, the market resolved there, and it did so immediately.”
One is poetry.
The other is causality.
