SCALE: The American Renaissance

Don’t let them psych you out. Global trade disruptions are meaningless when you are creating abundance domestically and possess, at scale, the highest GDP per capita consumer in the world, backed by the world reserve currency.

The East has always highlighted its insecurities to me, which only emphasizes the strengths of SWIFT, capitalism, markets, genetics, and free thinking.

The opposition from within is merely a reflection of the opposition around you.

I have seen greatness, and a renaissance coming—though cumbersome—will inspire generations to come.

It won’t necessarily be about economic data and figures; it will be about symbolism and execution to usher in a new era. No one looks back at the Renaissance and asks what the economic data was. Everything we see from that time speaks for itself, inspiring awe relative to the rest of the world.

To accelerate into the singularity - whatever that is with the touch of ‘awe’.

The world is accelerating past so many people. Which is the only antidote to the present and its fallen state. Either way it is going into a singularity or centralization that could be really dark or bright.

So now is the time to scale up to create abundance.

-Scale is not simply a way to measure the size of things around us—it is a formidable conceptual framework. We shape scale, but scale also shapes us.

-Thinking and acting through scale, with all its strange complexity, may be our best strategy for thriving in a dynamically changing world.

-Through scale, we can grasp the invisible.

-In reality, scale is merely a human construct layered on top of the things we encounter to make our experiences more comprehensible.

-We make things bigger, faster, stronger, tinier, heavier, or even more complex. But we must also recognize that scale pushes back.

-Scale models, in this sense, are mimetic: They mirror the real thing, though they are reduced in sensory data.

The isolationist, if great, can scale abundance.

Berkshire Hathaway is a small shop and scaled to manage a massive AUM.
