Skill is the Demonstrated Sequence Under Uncertainty.
We don’t watch sports for the final score.
We watch for the sequence — the adjustments, the decisions, the execution under pressure, the skill required to move the game from one state to the next.
The score is just the summary.
The real substance is the chain of events that produced it.
Interestingly, the people fixated only on the score are usually spectators — or prediction gamblers. They care about the outcome, not the mechanics that created it.
Operators care about the sequence.
