If it isn’t you if you’re not the one distributing liquidity, setting the tape, or harvesting the reflexivity—then what incentive do you have to cheer for a “bottom” right here?
A shallow bounce is charity.
It protects the wrong hands, preserves bad cost bases, and gives the insiders an orderly exit.
If you’re not in the control seat, the higher-probability outcome that benefits you is lower first: force liquidation, shake out leverage, flush the cosplay conviction, and reset the ownership to stronger hands at cheaper levels.
