I’m very big on people’s taste palettes—because it gives deep insight into who they are as individuals.
Coldplay just wrapped up four shows in Toronto, and the crowd was incredibly eclectic. It really makes you think: what kind of music—and signaling—does Coldplay actually cater to? I’ve always felt they play to a specific archetype, and their lead singer is often portrayed as the model of the "modern man."
The newswires are now reporting that corporate executives were having affairs at the Coldplay concert in Boston. It says a lot when people can feel comfortable with moral deprivatity at your concert.
That alone seems to confirm everything I’ve ever believed about what it means to be a fan of Coldplay in this era.
They don’t pass the vibe check—at all.
With all the lights and the hoopla.
And if you really want to understand the social hierarchy, just pay attention to who’s considered “daddy.”
I guess I am dense- I don’t understand this post. ?
