The Contradiction of Crisis: Debt, Surplus, and Hypocrisy
There is a persistent narrative that national debt and deficits signals the downfall of America. However, this argument appears contradictory when the very entities benefiting from economic surpluses are the ones sounding the alarm. If you are the one gaining from the system, why insist that it is collapsing?
When efforts are made to address the issue—perhaps by slowing down or adjusting fiscal policies—those same voices, who previously warned of impending doom, suddenly shift to complaining about the changes. It’s an irrational cycle: first, they proclaim that the empire is falling, then, when corrective measures are taken, they resist them.
If the concern is truly about the survival of the system, then why not support solutions instead of reacting with frustration? This cycle of panic followed by resistance is counterproductive. Instead of genuine problem-solving, it becomes a loop of contradiction—one that makes little sense.
