The really smart get smarter
Have you noticed that the world’s richest people also control the most GPUs and integrated chips?
There’s an arms race underway — and it isn’t accidental. If you look at how GPUs and custom silicon are discussed publicly, a clear narrative is being orchestrated: higher prices justified by higher efficiency. The focus is relentlessly pushed toward processing power and hardware dominance, rather than software iteration and architectural breakthroughs — the very thing models like DeepSeek have highlighted.
By keeping attention on hardware efficiency, incumbents protect capital intensity, profitability and pricing power. Software-led gains are harder to gatekeep.
I’m not speaking abstractly here.
I own several integrated chips and NVIDIA hardware, and I paid top dollar for them. Distilled or watered down LLM’s is a scarcity oriented idea in a world that is reaching the singularity.
That experience makes the narrative impossible to ignore.
