You need to consider the state of the world and how Gen Z feels about it. The people who kiss your ass and opt in—they’re not “it” either. That’s why there won’t be any fanfare once you’re gone. They’ll look at the consequences of the world you left behind and realize how much optionality they’ve lost. You think you’re clever, but there’s no price that can compensate for why things turned out the way they did.
