Victory Day! Observe the scale
The fact that I can scale a 90% average over and over throughout the day creates a kind of smoothness against the stochastic nature of the market. And that smoothness is what businesses would call predictable cash flow — or at the very least, recurring revenue.
The ability to do that in arguably the hardest game in the world, trading the deepest and most untouchable assets on Earth, was always the real focus.
What many other professionals focused on almost certainly led them toward a red herring if it revolved around markets, because nearly every financial outcome is directly or indirectly a derivative of the most important tape in the world.
Even when people receive massive windfalls, there is often no scale. If they land an investment banking job, there is no scale. If their NVDA position explodes higher, there is still no scale.
Because scale is not a one-time outcome.
Scale is the ability to reproduce asymmetric results repeatedly, under live conditions, against the deepest liquidity system on Earth.
