China Deal In 2-3 Years?
Remember, I said to blitz the trade war?
I said that because I realized there are many forces at work in the ‘anti-trade war’ movement.
I stated you don’t need time because that is the purpose of a centrally planned economy. They centrally plan a decision and allocate the resources to do so.
Therefore, if you realize that it could take 2-3 years to develop a trade deal with China. What short term gain do you have? The only short-term gain was to hold firm on all the tariffs and continue to incentivize haste.
The goal was to have incentivized haste with all your trading partners.
All these countries had almost a decade since Trump’s first term to have prepared for changes in trade.
There is no need to slow pace his final term in office.
But that has now occurred.
Also, to imply deals are unilaterally in conjunction with China is also disadvantageous.
Because those other countries import from China and export to the US.
A US deal with that any country will have its own implications on China but does not need the United States in those multilateral conversations. Why?
2-3 years with maximum tariffs would more probably cause the fall of global communism.
But they don’t want to do that?
